concept car

Comparing an SUV with a Truck many will say is like comparing an apple to an orange. Is a SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) considered a truck? Or better yet is a truck a Sports Utility Vehicle? To figure that out we need to define what a truck really is. Can the two be separated into two different categories? Like this: a truck has an open back bed and the SUV is a heavier sporty van.
Truck owners will say that a truck is a pickup in which you can carry 4'x8' sheets plus. The SUV owner has this to say: a SUV is a passenger vehicle which can combine the towing capacity and strength of a pickup truck with the passenger-carrying space of a minivan meshed with on or off road capability.
With today’s gas prices there are quite a few Trucks and SUVs for sale countrywide. The following are important facts to consider when looking for new or used trucks and SUVs.
Drive/Tranny: Most trucks come with either manual and automatic transmissions as well as two- and four-wheel drive---SUVs also have both transmission options however most SUV’s are 4x4s
Size: Trucks fall into the compact or full-size category, although there are a couple considered mid-size---SUVs come built on either truck or car chassis.
Safety: Most trucks offer such safety equipment as front air-bags and seat-belts for each passenger---SUVs come with the same.
Passenger Capacity: Trucks have 3 body styles. 1) Regular cab has 2 doors and seats 2-3 comfortably. 2) Extended cab mainly adds extra storage space behind the front seats. 3) Full sized Crew cab version can seat 3 additional passengers with 4 doors---SUVs offer full seating in the front for 2 and 3 in the real with 4 side doors.

Transportation Of The Future - RCA Green Concept Cars

Transportation Of The Future - RCA Green Concept Cars

future

The Royal College of Art turns 40 years of existence next year and their fame will be honored by the graduates of their vehicle design program who are one the best in the world. As everything in the future should be green, they decided to design green and sustainable concepts for the cars of the future.

futuristic

Although the cars are very futuristic and they look like they will destroy the environment, all the concepts will feature energy efficient engines with few emission and also they will be made of glass which will allow them to be very aerodynamic.

rocket

RCA unveiled these cutting-edge cars that look like rockets and one of them is kind of a combination between a motorcycle and a sidecar. One of the best designs is the Airflow concept which was envisioned by Pierre Sabas and it will feature an exterior made of glass, ultra-weight materials and an electric engine.

impressive

Another impressive concept car is Nuaero which was designed by Jon Radbrink and it will be based on airfoils for aerodynamics, also a venturi-tunnel, and an underbody inspired by a catamaran.

Sergio Loureir

Other designs include Sergio Loureiro Da Silva’s Pheonix, Nereus concept by Ceri Yorath, a concept car from Ilaria Sacco, Joonas Vartola’s really attractive Iomega, Noah concept by Jung Hoon Rhee, Enigma concept by Paul Howse (one of my favorites) and a concept car from Yunwoo Jeong.

Arturo

I was about to forget about a design by Arturo Peralta Nogueras which consists of a car that runs on algae and which uses evolving solid hologram technology in order to adapt to the environment and passengers. Check out the photos tell us which one is your favorite!

Angel Car Concept with Futuristic Look and A Bit of Retro Charm

Angel Car Concept with Futuristic Look and A Bit of Retro Charm

Angel is a concept car inspired by the fairy angels at a minimal and very pure design manner. Peugeot Angel is specially designed for city use that will give the users an unbelievable driving experience. This concept car has a futuristic look with a little bit of retro charm. All the front wheels have a standard car like look but the rear wheels are functioning on idea of circulation of opposite magnetic fields and this movement actually develops magnetic field that aloes this superb car to be levitated in its back. With this process the Angel car is lighter than traditional cars and requires less power to perform smooth drive.

Attractive Concepts Cars

A concept car can also be known as show cars which demonstrate new futuristic design, technology, improved safety devices, and radical changes which are still under consideration whether to go for mainstream production. Concepts cars have amazing designs you probably see in sci-fi movies. It turns heads instantly if seen out in the road, but rarely seen because it is usually in a showcase display for innovation and amusement. Of course these concepts cars would not be cheap enough for the “Average Joe” income to purchase, but still extraordinary to lay eyes on. Many car manufacture companies have designed their own concept cars. Here are some neat looking concept cars

$650,000

Ferrari had 1,000 orders for the $650,000 Enzo after the car was unveiled in 2002, but the company stuck to its decision to build only 399 cars (plus one for the pope). By my math, that means it left $390,000,000 on the table in the name of exclusivity and almighty demand. With those 600 never-built Enzos, Ferrari essentially invested $390 million in its own legend.
Because nothing whips rich people into a frenzy quite like telling them they can’t have something.

8. Peraves Monotracer

Designer: Swiss Manufacturer Peraves
Status : Being limitedly produced (100 units each year)
Engine: BMW 1200 CC, 130 hp
Credibility: Combines the aptitude of a car and a bike
The Peraves Monotracer combines the features of a sports bike and a sports car and if any of you doubt it, just as a substantiation, it took Peraves some 90 prototypes and 12 million kilometers to be sure that they live up to the rumored repute . When the driver dives into a corner a retractable stabilizer wheel is positioned in less than a half a second, enabling the bike to lean up to 52 degrees more, than most sport bikes in their lifetime.
